Samsung has been building anticipation for its latest Fan Edition offerings, including the Galaxy S23 FE, the Galaxy Tab S9 series, and the Galaxy Buds FE TWS earbuds, in India over the past few days. Among these, the Galaxy S23 FE is being particularly hyped with the tagline “The New Epic.” The official unveiling of this device is set to take place on October 4 in the country.
The Expected Specs of Samsung Galaxy S23 FE
Samsung Galaxy S23 FE is likely to feature a 6.3-inch FHD+ Dynamic AMOLED display with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. Depending on the region, Samsung may offer the S23 FE with either the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 or the Exynos 2200 chipset. Although it hasn’t been confirmed officially, there’s a possibility that the Snapdragon variant will be available in India.
The S23 FE is expected to come preloaded with the Android 13-based One UI 5.1. On the back, it is likely to house a camera setup comprising a 50-megapixel primary sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS), an 8-megapixel ultra-wide sensor, and a 12-megapixel telephoto lens capable of 3x optical zoom. For selfies, you can anticipate a 10-megapixel front-facing camera.
Additional features expected on the Galaxy S23 FE include an in-screen fingerprint scanner, a robust 4,500mAh battery with 25W fast charging support, and 15W wireless charging. It may also come with an IP rating for water and dust resistance. In terms of pricing, there’s speculation that the 8GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB variants of the S23 FE will be available at ₹54,999 and ₹59,999, respectively, in India.
Furthermore, it’s possible that Samsung will announce the Galaxy Tab S9 FE and Tab S9 FE Plus on October 4, along with the Galaxy Tab A9 and the Galaxy Buds FE expected to debut on October 5. This marks an exciting period for Samsung enthusiasts in India, as they eagerly await the arrival of these new devices.
