Although yesterday, Messi has been faxed by the board as well as a reply to his original fax – “we want you.” Today finally, the man behind all of what is happening in Spain, Bartomeu has taken the decision to talk to Messi as reported by the ‘Tot Costa’ program of Catalunya Ràdio.

It is being said that the president of FC Barcelona could confront the Argentine striker face to face. It all surrounds his decision to leave the Barça club at no cost, interpreting that the exit clause that expired on June 10.

Although Messi and his lawyers interpret that the clause has validity to the end of August as the pandemic has changed almost everything. Now, without even concerned to what is going on, stubborn Bartomeu does not want to resign at all.

In the meantime today, to try to calm things, he is planning to meet Messi and ask his decision, even interpret the law about his free transfer clause today. Although Ramon Planes, the technical secratary of Barcelona has said Messi is non-transferable and is counted with him 100%, this is now a hard decision to change.

This is the closest ever Messi has reached regarding leaving the club and if Bartomeu doesn’t resign, this decision won’t change at all. It is even feared that this Barcelona board might actually end of selling Messi to revive their financial situations. The conditions are very delicate and Messi is about to leave the club of his dreams this time.
