Andre Onana was at fault for the opening goal for Bayern Munich. He got his hands to a shot from Leroy Sane directly at him, but was unable to prevent it from going into the back of the net. Casemiro spearheaded a late comeback, but it was too little too late for the Premier League club.

Jude Bellingham continued his sensational start to life in Madrid, scoring the late winner for Los Blancos in the final minute of injury time.
