Apple is apparently planning to manufacture its iPhone 15 Plus there during the upcoming quarter as a result of the location’s successful production of the series’ more affordable entry-level model.

According to The Economic Times, Apple plans to start making the iPhone 15 Plus at its Foxconn factory in Tamil Nadu. The report stated that it would begin the next quarter following the successful production of the iPhone 15.
Following the start of commercial production of the iPhone 15 at the Foxconn factory in India, Apple will make the first iPhone made there available for purchase during the device’s unveiling.
Apple will continue importing handsets from its main production hub in China in order to meet demand during the upcoming holiday season since local manufacturing capacity for the iPhone 15 is still constrained, according to the report.
