“Pushpa: The Rise” producers revealed their plan to split the film into two parts back in May 2021. “Pushpa 2: The Rule” had its official launch with a pooja ceremony in August 2022 in Hyderabad. Prior to the release of “Pushpa: The Rise,” around 10% of the filming for Part 2 had been completed. However, following the immense success of “K.G.F.: Chapter 2” and some speculation that the two films shared a similar plot, director and writer Sukumar decided to overhaul and reshoot the second installment to provide a unique experience for the audience. Sukumar later confirmed that the storylines of the two films were distinct but aimed to meet viewers’ expectations and make up for past shortcomings.
The title of the second installment, “Pushpa 2: The Rule,” was unveiled at the conclusion of the first film. In April 2023, Mythri Movie Makers released a three-minute and fourteen-second sneak peek of “Pushpa 2 – The Rule,” posing the question, “Where is Pushpa?” The teaser took the internet by storm, keeping “Pushpa 2 – The Rule” a hot topic on social media. The glimpse masterfully builds suspense, leaving audiences pondering whether Pushpa is alive or not. 2. AA22 (Tentative Title)

Following the completion of “Pushpa: The Rule,” Allu Arjun is set to appear in the highly-anticipated film “ICON.” The movie will be directed by Venu Sriram, known for his work in “MCA (Middle-Class Abbayi)” and “Vakeel Saab.” “ICON” will mark their fourth collaboration.
