Barcelona are planning to go in for Joao Felix after the player’s admission that he dreams of playing for the Blaugranes. Club president Joan Laporta has revealed that the club is planning to make one more signing after Joao Cancelo, who signed on loan this summer.

Atletico Madrid officials have revealed that they are open to letting Felix go this summer. His relationship with the squad and Diego Simeone has deteriorated significantly, and they are ready to cut their losses and let the forward go this summer. Negotiations between the two clubs should proceed fast, with the deadline looming within 48 hours.

FFP regulations will be key in determining whether Barca can sign the forward this summer. The club will not be able to offer him a huge contract to sign for them this summer. But, they could negotiate a loan deal if nothing else works as a solution.

Joao Felix spent the latter half of the 2022/23 season on loan at Chelsea, and was able to come up with some impressive performances. But, the West London club decided not to make his loan deal permanent in spite of an impressive display.

Now, a move to Barcelona could be on the cards if the two clubs can reach a solution.
