Lenovo Legion 5i and Legion 5Pi with Intel CPUs & NVIDIA GPUs launched in India

Today, in partnership with Intel, Lenovo launched three new laptops and among them the Legion 5i and Legion 5Pi are the budget and mid-range gaming laptops respectively with great specs and features. However, the Legion 5i has been there for quite sometime now on Amazon but has been formally announced today by the company.

Lenovo Legion 5Pi

This laptop is almost similar to its brother 5i with minor differences, but it’s more premium to build quality and has a better display with a 144Hz refresh rate. While both the laptops feature up to 10th Generation Intel Core i7-10750H Processors, on the graphics front, the Legion 5Pi offers up to RTX 2060 graphics options. It is paired with up to 16GB DDR4-2933 RAM & 512 GB PCIe SSD.

You can play with the thermals and stuff via Legion Coldfront 2.0 while cooling the laptop features copper heat sinks and a quad-channel ventilation system to circulate cool air to key system components. It also uses an integrated thermal module for greater thermal efficiency. 

The laptop has dedicated media keys and number pad to make video editing and setting macros easier, while its smarter, Lenovo Legion TrueStrike keyboard provides 100% anti-ghosting and is available with optional 4-zone RGB system backlighting. The Legion 5P has a thin profile and weighs just 2.5 kg.

As Lenovo says, you can enjoy the battle-ready performance, immersive experiences, and seamless gameplay with Lenovo Vantage for Gaming software. You can choose performance mode for apps and games to calibrate automatically. Overclock CPUs and GPUs and use memory release to push frame rates to the limit. Downshift to Quiet Mode to save battery life or choose Balance Mode for normal use. 

It gives up to 7.5 hours of battery life with Rapid Charge Pro and can use the slim power adapter to charge from zero to up to 50% battery life in 30 minutes. Lenovo also states that with Hybrid Mode and Advanced Optimus Technology, you can switch between the laptop’s discrete graphics or use the iGPU to save power for better battery life.
