Bournemouth have reached an agreement with Leeds United to sign Tyler Adams on a permanent deal. The player has agreed a five-year contract with the Cherries with no option to extend. He is expected to complete his medical for the transfer in the coming days and then sign the official paperwork to be unveiled as a new signing.Â
The transfer fee for the midfield has not yet been revealed, but it could be close to his £20 million release clause. Adams is expected to be a valuable addition to the club this summer, as part of their ambitions to stay up in the Premier League.
Tyler Adams signs for Bournemouth from Leeds UnitedÂ
A few weeks ago, Tyler Adams was on his way to Chelsea after the Blues reached an agreement with Leeds to activate his release clause. But, the move fell through in spite of medical tests being scheduled, since the club wanted to sign Moises Caicedo and went all-in to bolster their defensive midfield position.Â
Leeds have had to offload a number of players this summer after being relegated last summer.
They have been approached by Everton for Wilfried Gnonto, who has refused to train with the club. Leeds United don’t want to sell the Italian, but could be forced into the move after his avoidance to training and submission of a written transfer request.
