Redmi Pad SE launched in the global market with Snapdragon 680 and an 8,000mAh battery

The Redmi Pad SE is launched in the global market. The device comes in three different color options – Lavender Purple, Graphite Gray, and Mint Green – and features a stunning 11-inch 90Hz IPS display.

Redmi Pad SE specifications

Major Highlights

  • Redmi Pad SE offers a stunning 11-inch 90Hz IPS display
  • It is powered by Snapdragon 680 processor
  • It is available in three color options: Lavender Purple, Graphite Gray, and Mint Green

This tablet’s Snapdragon 680 chipset was provided by Redmi. It contains 128 GB of storage on board and is constructed using a 6nm process. A micro SD connection allows for an additional 1 TB of storage. We are given the choice between 4 GB, 6 GB, or 8 GB of RAM.

An 11″ LCD panel with a 1920 x 1200 pixel resolution and a refresh rate of up to 90 Hz is used. Redmi guarantees a 400 nit brightness and a 1500:1 contrast ratio, and the company even has the panel’s low blue light level approved by TUV Rheinland.

Redmi Pad SE

The Redmi Pad SE has a 5 MP camera up front and an 8 MP camera in the back. Strong battery life is promised by an 8000 mAh battery, but there are compromises made in the charging process as well; the tablet is only capable of 10 W charging. Some could even say bordering on absurd. The Redmi Pad SE’s specification sheet also lists Bluetooth 5.0, quad speakers, MIUI Pad 14 based on Android 13, and a 3.5 mm socket.

Pricing details

The Redmi Pad SE’s aggressive pricing, however, puts the aforementioned cost-cutting into perspective. The starting price for the 4/128GB model is €199, the 6/128GB model is €229, and the 8/128GB model is €249. There are three color options: Mint Green, Graphite Grey, and Lavender Purple.
