On Monday, Xiaomi officially announced the Redmi K60 Ultra in China. At an offline event today, the smartphone was unveiled with the Xiaomi Fold 3, Xiaomi Pad 6 Max, and Xiaomi Band 8 Pro. The 6.67-inch AMOLED screen of the Redmi K60 Ultra is driven by the Mediatek Dimensity 9200+ SoC and Mediatek 690 APU. The largest of the smartphone’s three back cameras, a 50-megapixel sensor, has three lenses. It sports a 5,000mAh battery and 120W of support for quick charging.
Redmi K60 Ultra specifications
The Redmi smartphone has a 6.67-inch (2272 x 1220 pixels) AMOLED screen with a 144Hz refresh rate. Up to 24GB of LPDDR5X RAM and a Mediatek Dimensity 9200+ SoC power the Redmi K60 Ultra.
With support for 120W quick charging, the Redmi K60 Ultra’s 5,000mAh battery provides power. Bluetooth 5.3, WiFi, 5G, and a USB Type-C port are all supported for connectivity.
The Redmi K60 Ultra’s triple rear camera system has a 50-megapixel Sony IMX800 sensor as the primary sensor, an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens as the secondary sensor, and a 2-megapixel portrait camera as the third sensor. The phone will have a punch-hole 16-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls that is mounted on top of the display.
Pricing Details
For the base model with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage, the smartphone, which was unveiled in China on Monday, costs CNY 2,599 (nearly Rs. 30,000). Costing CNY 2,799, or around Rs. 32,000, is the 16GB RAM + 256GB storage option.
Redmi K60 Ultra models range in pricing from CNY 2,999 (about Rs 34,350) for the 16GB RAM + 512GB storage edition to CNY 3,299 (roughly Rs 38,000) for 16GB RAM + 1TB storage and CNY 3,599 (roughly Rs 41,200) for 24GB RAM + 1TB storage.
