MotoGP Bharat City Tour Thrills Bikers in Ahmedabad, Paving the Way for India’s First-Ever MotoGP Race

Ahmedabad, the vibrant city of Gujarat, witnessed a spectacular display of biking passion as the much-awaited MotoGP Bharat‘s multi-city tour arrived at the iconic Indian Institute of Management (IIM) campus on a thrilling Sunday. With close to 500 enthusiastic riders gathering to celebrate their love for biking, the event marked the beginning of an exhilarating journey culminating in India’s first-ever MotoGP race scheduled to take place at the Buddh International Circuit in Greater Noida from September 22-24, 2023.

MotoGP Bharat is India’s first-ever MotoGP race, organized by FairStreet Sports in collaboration with Dorna Sports. Scheduled to take place at the Buddh International Circuit, the event will offer Indian fans a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to experience the thrill of 1000cc beasts racing at speeds of up to 350 km/h. The race will feature some of the greatest names from the sport, including Francesco Bagnaia of Ducati, Marc Marquez of Repsol Honda Team, Marco Bezzecchi of Mooney, Brad Binder and Jack Miller of Red Bull KTM, and Jorge Martin of Prima, among others. Inside the IIM campus, the popular IIM band set the stage alight with electrifying music, adding an extra dimension of entertainment to the celebration.

Sushant Srivastava, the Managing Director and Head of City Tours at FairStreet Sport, the Indian promoter of MotoGP, expressed his thrill in bringing the multi-city tour to Ahmedabad. As part of the City Tour, exciting contests like Fresh Face and Motofluencer were held to select lucky winners who will get to witness the Indian edition of the race live at Buddh International Circuit, the host state of Uttar Pradesh.
