In this article we will provide 5 must-see places in order to experience the class and sophistication of Hungary. So, if you are a millionaire visiting Hungary and are looking for luxurious and exclusive experiences, here are the top 5 places to consider.

TOP 5 places to visit in Hungary for a millionaire

The Castle District

For those who have been to the city of Budapest before, the large river Danube cuts through Budapest, dividing the city into Buda and Pest. Buda is known as the richer part of the city, and this is where you will also find the castle district, which is the single richest area in all of Hungary, based on the average house prices.

As the name suggests, you will find several old castles here, where you can taste expensive wines in medieval cellars, enjoy culture and art exhibits, visit the museums, or enjoy the local cuisine at one of the many luxurious restaurants or hotels.

Cruise on the Danube River

The Danube river is among the most famous of all the rivers in Europe, and quite possibly the world. Over the years it has been significant in terms of wars, famines, and the general livelihood and fate of farmers and kings alike.

It cuts through most of hungary, as well as a number of other European countries, and at almost 3.000 km in length (1.700 miles), it is no wonder that so many people consider this river to be special in their hearts.

We suggest you experience some of the more beautiful parts, by going on a cruise down the river, where you can hire a boat or ship that fits your budget as a millionaire. This can be an expensive trip, so for those who are not yet millionaires, one potential option is to play Eurojackpot online.

Tokaj Wine Region

What luxury holiday is complete without visiting the local wine region? Hungary produces many famous wines throughout their countryside, but we chose the region of Tokaj, as there are also ample opportunities for experiences befitting the millionaires in this area.

We recommend you go on a private tour of one of the larger vineyards, or perhaps book a winetasting with an expert, who can tell you all about the different types of wines from the area, and give you ideas as to which bottles to bring back home.

Visegrád

If you love breathtaking scenery, we highly recommend you visit the Visegrád Citadel, which is majestically placed on top of a hill, overlooking the entire region surrounding it. From here you have a first-class view of the Danube river.

The area also offers plenty of exciting things to try, such as a private helicopter tour, where you can get the adrenaline pumping, while also seeing the stunning nature and historical buildings from up high. Due to the height variations of the area, you can also dine at exclusive restaurants overlooking the Danube.

This trip can be quite expensive though, so if you are playing the lottery, you might want to check the latest lottery numbers (legújabb lottószámok in Hungarian).

Sopron

Our last recommendation, is the historic town of Sopron, which is known for its well-preserved medieval architecture, where the rich history of the country is imprinted on the walls, the stones and even the cobbled streets themselves.

You can also enjoy several exclusive and upscale hotels, as well as feast yourself on gourmet dining experiences worthy of the wealthiest of the land. Safe travels!
