Medal Esports Joins Rs. 2,00,00,000 Skyesports Masters To Conquer India’s First Franchised Esports League

The Skyesports Masters will commence with the League Stage from July 8 to August 17. The eight franchised teams will engage in intense round-robin matches spanning multiple weeks, with the top four advancing to the Playoffs. The Skyesports Masters Playoffs, scheduled for August 26 and 27, will see India’s four best CS:GO rosters battling it out for the championship title. The on-ground event is expected to be a remarkable spectacle, setting a benchmark for LAN events in Indian esports.

Kabir Kohli, Founder, and CEO of the Esports company, expressed his excitement about joining the Skyesports Masters, stating that it fulfills their long-standing dream of having a CS:GO team and aligns perfectly with their vision of competing in top-tier tournaments. Kohli emphasized the tournament’s significance for Indian esports, promoting Counter-Strike from grassroots through the cafe qualifiers and providing commercial viability to teams. Medal Esports intends to contribute to the growth of Counter-Strike in India and is set to unveil a seven-man roster for the Skyesports Masters, including players from the ongoing cafe qualifiers held in 20 cities across the country.

With a dedicated focus on Counter-Strike, Medal Esports has committed to a tried and tested approach for its new roster. Shiva Nandy, Founder and CEO of Skyesports, expressed excitement about welcoming Medal Esports as the sixth franchise in the Skyesports Masters. Nandy emphasized the alignment of Medal Esports’ long-term commitment to Counter-Strike with their vision of nurturing the game’s growth and development in India. The Skyesports Masters aims to redefine the esports landscape of India, and Medal Esports’ participation is seen as a significant part of that journey.

Medal Esports now joins Revenant Esports, Gods Reign, 7Sea Esports, Marcos Gaming, and Reckoning Esports as part of the Skyesports Masters. Stay tuned to Skyesports’ social media channels for updates on the final two franchises in this historic esports league.
