Quad nations will benefit more if India starts competing with China in Manufacturing

According to the head of the Quad Investment Network, India has a lot of chances because of its skill base and ability to spring up as a second significant manufacturing base outside of China, and it can play a leading role in technology fields designated as essential by Quad nations.

Following the recent Quad Summit in Japan and prior to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s official state visit to the US, Karl Mehta, chairman of the Quad Investment Network (Quin), and Alex Trueman, the network’s special advisor, are in Washington, DC for meetings with Biden administration officials.

The Quin is a network of executives and investors from the four countries that make up the Quad that aims to encourage joint investment in important technology.
