JioCinema has unlocked the trailer of the power pack crime thriller drama film titled, āMumbaikarā. The story of the film follows a Mumbai don’s son who got kidnapped mistakenly for ransom. In this, the twist comes as several suspects own up and make the case more confusing.
This film is mainly a Hindi remake of Santosh Sivan’s Tamil hit Maanagaram features Vijay Sethupathi and Vikrant Massey. The thriller has been set in Mumbai for more than 24 hours and captures the chaos of the city and the kidnapping gone wrong as well.
Mumbaikar: Plot
The new teaser unlocks that Vijay’s character has mistakenly kidnapped the wrong child from a school. In this context, things turn out like he is the son of a dangerous Mumbai don. The crime thriller contains several twists and turns, the child has managed to run away and suddenly the don is faced with several calls claiming that they have his son.
In this show, you will get such frantic action combined with a bit of dark humor as well. The shooting of the show takes times of more than a year. It will be making its digital premiere next month. The 2017 Tamil film was directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj and starred Sundeep Kishan, Regina Cassandra, and Sri. It was set in Chennai.
Vikrant Massey was last seen in Gaslight with Sara Ali Khan.
