In the SAFF Championship 2018, India faced a resilient Pakistan side in the semifinals. Despite a spirited performance by Pakistan, India’s Manvir Singh stole the show with two clinical goals, securing a 2-0 lead. In the 2013 SAFF Championship, India faced Pakistan in the group stage. A scrappy affair ensued, with an own goal by Pakistan’s Samar Ishaq giving India the lead. Both teams fought hard, but India held on to claim the win and kickstart their successful campaign.
