A decent knock from the skipper, who hit a 42 off 31, and Rinku Singh’s 46 off 35 helped KKR pass a good score. Andre Russell had a major contribution, too, with the bat as he hit 24 off 15 with two big sixes and a four.

Coming down to chase 171 on their home ground, the first two overs went for the Orange army. However, the respective wickets of the openers Abhishek Sharma and Mayank Agarwal by Shardul Thakur and Harshit Rana started to take the game in favor of the men in purple.

Klassen put up a super show

SRH were four wickets down when Klassen came to bat, and the game seemed to go away from Knights’ hand. With three big sixes and a four, the power hitter South African batter scored 36 off 20 before Thakur picked him his wicket.

The 19th over by Arora had a lot of drama with a no-ball, two fours, and the wicket of Marco Jansen. However, in thr last over, it was Varun Chakravarthy who kept his nerves and defended 9 runs, restricting the opponent 5 runs short of target. He picked up Abdul Samad’s wicket too, and was rewarded with the Man of the Match award, his second in this season.
