Hector Bellerin is expected to return to Real Betis from Sporting Lisbon soon. The Spanish side is in advanced stages of negotiations to bring him back to the club, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The player only made the move to Portugal during the January transfer window, when he left Barcelona. He was signed by them on a free transfer after leaving Arsenal, where he spent seven years and made a name for himself.
Hector Bellerin expected to rejoin Real Betis in the summer
In 2021, Bellerin was loaned out to Real Betis for a year before he joined Barcelona on a free transfer. He was a regular for the La Liga side during the 21/22 season, and provided five assists in 32 games across all competitions.
In the Portuguese league, he has only managed four appearances and is currently sidelined with an injury. His contract with Sporting is only for six months, expiring at the end of the ongoing season.
As a result, Hector Bellerin will be able to return to Sporting as a free agent. The player is keen on returning to Seville, and negotiations are in the advanced stages for the move to go through. As a result, it could only be a matter of time before an official announcement is made.
