Arsenal’s dressing room ‘clock’ photo at Fulham: Reason behind it revealed

Arsenal are taking their home comforts on the way in their bid to grab the Premier League title for the inaugural time since 2004.

The Gunners regained their five point advantage at the Premiere League with a smooth 3-0 victory over Fulham on Sunday afternoon.

Arsenal dressing room ‘clock’ photo reason revealed

After a match, there’s a photo that came up. It showed the Gunners players holding a replica of the legendary clock that is situated above the Clock End, at the Emirates stadium, in the away dressing room at Craven cottage.

Reports can reveal that the sudden move is included in the innovative wider plan from within the Gunners squad to create an Emirates feeling in the dressing room. Besides the replica clock, wall stickers of the Arsenal badge, and an official squad photo poster was kept on the walls of the away dressing room at Craven Cottage to provide it with a more familiar feel.

The clock carries a symbolic significance in Arsenal’s history and honoured the club’s former ground Highbury for over 70 years. In 2010, a larger replica of the iconic clock was built at Emirates Stadium, with the original situated outside the stadium. Arsenal has 11 more fixtures remaining out of which five are away from home.

Excellent form at away games

Arteta was even asked about the superb away form of Arsenal after their 1-0 win against Leicester last month. He said, “I think performances are responsible for Arsenal’s away record this season.” After Jesus’ return, Arteta also said, “A big boost.

It was the first step today. We didn’t know whether it was the right game but yesterday I looked him in his eyes and he said: ‘I am ready.’ Now he needs to earn his place like any other player.”
