While the Pro series will still have 120Hz displays but the normal iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus is rumoured that Apple will again limit ProMotion and Always on Display to its Pro models only. This is too harsh from the Cupertino giant because high refresh rate OLED displays have gotten cheaper than ever and on every mid-range Android device we get the feature.
As per tipster yeux1122, Apple is preparing itself for the mass production of its upcoming iPhone 15 series and while Dynamic Island is expected to make its entry to iPhone 15 and 15 Plus, ProMotion will still be restricted for the high-end iPhone 15 Pro series.
Considering the fact that 120Hz LTPO displays are quite common these days and are inexpensive, Apple has been restricting them from the iPhone 13 Pro series. Now, even in 2023, only iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max will get high refresh rate panels, which is again a big shame.
