While we are also promoting women’s entrepreneurship and encouraging them to step into various businesses, here are some of the prominent women who have left their impact in India and are also the richest.

Roshni Nadar

Roshni Nadar, the chairperson of HCL Technologies, India’s fourth-largest IT firm, is the richest woman in the nation. She is the daughter of the founder of HCL, Shiv Nadar. The corporation made its largest purchase in corporate history, seven IBM goods valued at $13.740 billion, under the 40-year-old’s direction. According to the Hurun report, her fortune climbed 54% in 2021 compared to the previous year.

Falguni Nayar

Following the initial public offering of her business, Nykaa, this former investment banker’s net worth increased by 963% in 2021. She took Kiran Mazumdar-Shaw’s place and moved up to take the second spot. She is also the tenth richest person in the world and the richest self-made lady in India.

Kiran Mazumdar-Shaw, before venturing into the realm of affordable innovations that resulted in her company obtaining a USFDA license for manufacturing cholesterol medications, had aspirations of making a name for herself in the Indian wine industry. With the successful IPO of her company, Biocon, her financial worth grew.

Nilima Motaparti

The founder of Divi’s Labs, Murli Krishna Motaparti, is the father of Nilima Motaparti. Motaparti, who holds a Master’s in international finance from Glasgow University, is in charge of all material sourcing and procurement, corporate finance, and investor relations for the pharmaceutical company. 2021 saw a 51% increase in her wealth.

Radha Vembu

One of the founding members of the technology business Zoho, situated in Chennai and producing web-based tools and software, is Radha Vembu. Since 2007, she has maintained her position as the product manager of Zoho Mail. In the interim, the business expanded rapidly; in 2021, its revenues exceeded $1 billion. Her wealth subsequently increased by 127% in the following year.

Leena Tewari

Anu Aga and Meher Pudumjee

Neha Narkhede

Her wealth increased after her business went public in 2021, and she immediately entered the Top 10 of the Hurun Rich List. She is also regarded as one of the top women in technology worldwide.

Vandana Lal

The executive director of Dr. Lal Pathlabs and a recent addition to the top 10 list is Vandana Lal. The epidemic increased the need for numerous tests and health examinations, which has raised the worth of her business as well. As per Hurun, her wealth increased by 102% in 2021. Also, she is the fourth person on the list who works in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries.

Renu Munjal

The late Raman Munjal’s wife, Renu Munjal, the renowned founder of the Hero Group and the eldest son of Brijmohan Lall Munjal. Although her spouse passed away in his prime, she has occupied a variety of jobs inside the organization. She presently serves as the managing director of Hero FinCorp. She is a proponent of numerous humanitarian causes and a founding member of BML Munjal University.
