OPPO Wi-Fi 6 Router AX5400 could be the OnePlus Router
Oppo showcased its first router at the MWC 2023 event and as we all know it has a deep partnership when it comes to OnePlus, so, it makes sense to bring rebadged Oppo products as OnePlus’s to India, because of the great OnePlus community. At the Cloud 11 event this month, we were told OnePlus will be launching its first router in India in July and Oppo showcased one at this event.
So, if connect the dots, you know this is the router that will be rebadged in India and could be sold as OnePlus Router. Excited? Let’s check this OPPO Wi-Fi 6 Router AX5400 closely and see how good this is, also can this make Opoo-OnePlus a better AIoT brand:
OPPO Wi-Fi 6 Router AX5400 – All You need to Know
In “smart productivity”, OPPO has further expanded its communication technology product portfolios. OPPO Wi-Fi 6 Router AX5400, based on the Qualcomm® Immersive Home 216 Platform, is OPPO’s first Wi-Fi router product, supporting the Wi-Fi 6 AX5400 standard, and is capable of providing a 2.4GHz+5GHz dual-band Wi-Fi signal at the same time.
It’s not that Oppo didn’t make any router before, but this is its first Wi-Fi 6 router and OnePlus too promised a Wi-Fi 6 one for home usage. Talking about raw specs, this OPPO Wi-Fi 6 Router AX5400 reaches the Wi-Fi 6 standard and supports 160MHz bandwidth, OFDMA, and 4K QAM modulation. Its theoretical wireless rate can reach up to 5378Mbps.
At the same time, with high-performance signal amplifiers and high-gain antennas, Wi-Fi signals can reach further and pass through walls with less disruption. The OPPO Wi-Fi 6 Router AX5400 is simple to set up and easy to use with its intuitive web interface and the powerful OPPO Connect app.
The combination of its high-gain antennas, OPPO’s self-developed anti-interference algorithm, and network directional speed-up technology enables Wi-Fi with wider coverage, enhanced stability, and faster speeds.
The elegant cylindrical appearance with hidden antennas makes it fit perfectly within a modern, minimalist home, while the unique internal structure helps improve heat dissipation, ensuring always-on connectivity that covers every corner of the home.
Though both routers look a bit different but work similarly as the OnePlus Hub 5G router will also support 5G sim and the OPPO Wi-Fi 6 Router AX5400 can also do the same thing using mesh connectivity for high-speed 5G connectivity at your home. However, it’s safe to say both will share common technologies and these OPPO-OnePlus mergers will be common in the future, especially in mass markets like India.
