Top 10 cricketers who made the most money in IPL
1. Rohit Sharma- 178.6 crore
Mumbai Indians skipper Rohit Sharma has been the highest earner in this league making a total amount of 178.6 Crore as of 2023. He played for Deccan Chargers in the first three seasons and contributed to their final win in 2009. He’s been one of the best players in the IPL so far. In 2008 he started with 3 crores which got increased to 9.2 crores in 2011. three years later, it became 12.5 crores, In 2019, the franchise retained him for 19 crores, and in this year and the following year he signed a contract with MI of 16 crores.
2. MS Dhoni- 176.84 crore
The most significant player of the Chennai Super Kings has been Dhoni, without any doubt. He started leading the team right from 2008, its inaugural season. Under him, the team lifted the Cup four times, in 2010, 2011, 2018, and 2021. CSK made the most expensive purchase in the first edition buying Dhoni with 6 crores. Three years later his salary was increased to 8.2 crores. Suresh Raina has been one of the finest batters that Indian ever produced. In the Indian Premier League, he was one of the great fielders. He has been instrumental in CSK’s success over the years.
