The Premier League table toppers have been beaten at home for the first time this season. And it is Brighton who have continued to slay the giants after beating Manchester United and Chelsea earlier in the league.

Although the home team scored first, three unanswered goals from the Seagulls saw them advance to the next round of the Carabao Cup.

Manchester City 2-0 Chelsea

Chelsea’s losing run continued against Manchester City, as Riyad Mahrez scored from a free-kick, while Julian Alvarez netted once again to make it to the next round for the Sky Blues.

Nottingham Forest 2-0 Tottenham Hotspur

Despite being in a difficult situation in the Premier League, Forest overcame Liverpool a couple of weeks ago. Now, they have stunned Tottenham with a 2-0 win at home, dumping Antonio Conte’s men out in their first game.
