Marseille have made the loan transfer of Amine Harit permanent based on the number of appearances that were agreed upon in the contract. The former Schalke player has featured 15 times for the Ligue 1 club this season, automatically triggering the buy option.
The permanent contract was already agreed upon between the player and the club. And as a result, it has gone forward without any problems.
Amine Harit joins Marseille permanently
The midfielder has scored one goal and provided three assists in 15 appearances across all competitions. The buy option clause is valued at €5 million, which is what Schalke will receive for the player.
Amine Harit is a Moroccan international as well, and has been capped 16 times by his country since making his debut in 2017. The details of his new contract with Marseille have not been revealed, but he will be signing a new long-term deal with them.
Marseille finished last in their Champions League group despite having the chance to finish at the top on the final day. They are now only in domestic competitions, and could aim for another top two finish this season with a narrow objective to focus on.
