Arsenal remain keen on signing Mykhaylo Mudryk from Shakhtar Donetsk as soon as the January transfer window. The Ukrainian was on fire during the group stages of the Champions League, scoring three goals and providing two assists as the team finished third in their group.

The price tag for Mudryk has risen to €60-65 million in the last few months, which means that it won’t be an easy deal to carry out for the Premier League club.

In case Arsenal want to sign the player as a priority, they will have to move fast. There is nothing advanced with Shakhtar Donetsk as of right now, and negotiations will take time since the club considers him a very valuable part of their team.

They have no shortage of talent on the wings, with Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli regularly starting out wide. However, new competition will force the youngsters to stay at the top of their game and will also allow Mikel Arteta more options to choose from.

Alongside Mykhaylo Mudryk, Arsenal are also keeping an eye on Facundo Torres of MLS club Orlando City. However, they haven’t started negotiations for him either. If the club wants to sign an attacker for the winter transfer window, they will have to start negotiations soon in order to avoid difficulties later.
