Redmi Note 12 Pro+: Everything you need to know

The all-new Redmi Note 12 range includes three phones – Redmi Note 12 Pro and Redmi Note 12 Pro+ and Redmi Note 12 Extreme. Xiaomi is all set to launch its next Note lineup. The brand will launch the Note 12 Series in China tomorrow, i.e. October 27.

The phone will come with a 120 Hz refresh rate 6.67-inch 240Hz touchscreen 10bit OLED display offering a resolution of 1080×2400 pixels and an aspect ratio of 20:9. It supports HDR10+ and Dolby Vision. Redmi Note 12 Pro+ come with 6GB of RAM and powered by MTK 1080.

Coming to the optics, it comes with 200(HPX)OIS+8+2MP camera set up. In the front, it has 16MP front camera. It has Side Mounted Finger print scanner. The Note 12 Pro is to run Android 12 and is powered by a 5000mAh battery. The Note 12 Pro supports 120 watt fast charging.

The Note 12 Pro+ is a dual-SIM (GSM) mobile that will accept Nano-SIMmobile. The Note 12 Pro+ is said to measure 163.64 x 74.29 x 8.98mm (height x width x thickness). It weights 208.4g.

Connectivity options on the Note 12 Pro+ includes Wi-Fi 6, GPS, USB Type-C, IR Blaster, 3G, and 4G (with support for Band 40 used by some LTE networks in India). It has 3.5mm Jack support. Sensors on the phone are rumoured to include accelerometer, ambient light sensor, and proximity sensor.

Xiaomi usually launches its Note devices in India soon after the China launch. The gap could be weeks, but considering we are already in the last quarter of the year, the company might as well launch this early next year. While Xiaomi hasn’t announced any specific sale date for the Redmi Note 12 Series, we can expect the devices to go on sale after three or four days after the launch on October 27.
