Juventus vice president Pavel Nedved has spoken out on first team manager Max Allegri’s future – saying that he won’t be dismissed.

The team has had to go through a very bad start to the season, with the locker room also divided in their support for Allegri. However, the board is sticking by the manager for the time being.

“We know there’s a long road ahead, and it will take a while to get out of this situation.”

Andrea Agnelli has also reaffirmed that Allegri will be staying and will remain the first team manager. Currently, Juventus are eighth in the Serie A and are on the verge of dropping down to the Europa League from the Champions League.

Their recent defeat against Maccabi Haifa attracted strong criticism from the fans, calling for Max Allegri to be sacked. Financial constraints are also one of the key factors which are preventing Juventus from pulling the trigger. They have accumulated a significant amount of debt and will face an expensive task in replacing Allegri anytime soon.

So, despite the results in recent games, a managerial change seems very unlikely for the Bianconeri anytime soon.
