Apple Music is now available on Microsoft Store

For the Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and Xbox One, Apple Music is now accessible on the Microsoft Store, giving members access to the streaming music service with features like huge album art, full-screen time-synchronized lyrics, and more. Reddit users have reported that when gaming, music can be played in the background.

The app has a top navigation bar for Listen Now, Browse, Videos, Radio, Library, and Now Playing, just like the one found on tvOS for the Apple TV. Last year, Apple Music was made available via iTunes on the PlayStation 5, as well as several Samsung and LG smart TVs, Roku, Android, Amazon Echo, Sonos, Google Nest, and Windows devices.

The number of songs available on Apple Music just topped 100 million, but Apple has not disclosed how many members the programme has for several years. Along with other music services like Amazon Music, Deezer, and others, Xbox already supported Spotify, the biggest alternative to Apple Music.
