1. India vs Sri Lanka 260/5 (2017)
In 2017, the men in blue were playing against Sri Lanka in Indore’s Holkar Stadium which also hosted the T20I for the first time. Sri Lanka had won the toss and decided to bowl first. India won by a huge margin of 88 runs and took a lead of 2-0 in the series. Yuzvendra Chahal took 4 wickets giving 52 runs, and Kuldeep Yadav scalped 3 wickets by granting 52 runs. Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul scored big which helped the team post a giant total of 260 runs. The former posted 118 and the latter posted 89.
2. India vs West Indies 244/4 (2016)
India faced West Indies in the ZUS at Lauderhill, Florida. West Indies posted a total of 245 runs for six in the first innings. India lost early wickets, Ajinkya Rahane and Virat Kohli who were in the top order at that time, but the team bounced back as KL Rahul smashed a century. He hit 12 fours and 5 sixes. Rohit Sharma too, scored 62 runs and MS Dhoni scored 43. Unfortunately, none of these high scores mattered as the men in blue lost by 1 run.
4. India vs West Indies 240/3 (2019)
India was asked to bat first and finished their innings by posting a total of 240 runs. Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul had a solid partnership of 135 runs that helped the team reach this big score. KL Rahul had a 95-run partnership with Virat Kohli as well which proved to be very disadvantageous for the West Indies team. They could score only 173 runs in 20 overs and lost the match by a huge margin.
4. India vs South Africa 237/3 (2022)
South African skipper Temba Bavuma elected to bowl first which backfired on the team. India posted a total of 236 runs in 20 overs. David Miller smashed 106 runs off 47 deliveries and South Africa could score only 221-3 in 20 overs. Virat Kohli remained unbeaten at 49 runs in 28 deliveries whereas Dinesh Kartik smashed one four and a few sixes against Kagiso Rabada in the end.
