Manchester United are expected to launch another official bid for Antony after their €80 million offer was rejected. The player is pushing to move to Old Trafford, and a deal could be wrapped up this week if the clubs can agree to it.

The player has already agreed personal terms for a reunion with Erik Ten Hag, and now, it is up to the clubs. A fee worth €100 million is being rumoured as the next bid from United for Antony. Although they are not willing to sell an important player this late in the transfer window, the stance of the winger is forcing them to consider their options.

The Brazilian has been a target for the Premier League club ever since the start of the transfer window. And now, he is starting to miss training to force a move to Manchester United.

Cody Gakpo was the other option for the Red Devils, and has agreed personal terms as well. But, Antony was always the priority even though he will cost significantly more than the Netherlands international.

Ajax are considering bringing back Hakim Ziyech from Chelsea as the replacement for the Brazilian. The former Morocco international was recently in Amsterdam to discuss a return. And with Chelsea open to the move, it is time for discussions and planning once United can get their deal over the line.
