The rising star of Bollywood, Ishaan Khatter is coming up with a new war drama film ‘Pippa’. In the latest teaser, we will see Ishaan Khatter sharing the screen with Mrunal Thakur that has been revealed on the 75th Independence day. In this film, the makers provide some glimpse into the world of soldiers by following a biopic.
RSVP Movies has tweeted, “ With a great sense of pride, on this 75th Independence Day, we unveil the teaser of # Pippa. An action of our soldiers who fought the historic 1971 India-Pakistan war. The shooting of the entire film happened in Nasik, Pune, Mumbai, and many districts of West Bengal. Pippa mainly highlights The Burning Chaffee that’s written by Brigadier Balram Singh Mehta. The film has been directed by Raja Krishna Menon. This was the first kind of war drama that exposes the Indo-Pak war of 1971 that just led to the liberation of Bangladesh.
The new trailer starts with a voice of a lady who is telling a few hours ago, that Pakistan orchestrated air strikes on Indian airfields, and as revenge, she declares war against Pakistan. If you have already guessed who was this lady, then fine, but who is still in confusion got them we would like to say that voice was India’s one of the best and most powerful lady prime ministers Indira Gandhi. After this, the entire Indian army shouted together saying, ‘Jai Hind!’ and set out for the battle.
The trailer shows some big Kargil tanks moving for the war, the soldiers are running here and there. This war changed the history of Bangladesh, as this war was fought for the liberation of Bangladesh.
The ambiance of the film literally warms your blood, the slogan ‘Joy Bangla’ is really touch your heart, and the fighting scenes are outstanding. The short teaser has ended with fighting scenes sacrifices and victory.
Pippa: Cast
Ishaan Khatter will be representing the role of the young Brigadier Balram Singh Mehta who was known as an influence in India winning the battle. The war drama film has been produced by RSVP and Roy Kapur Films, the director is Raja Krishna and the music is by A R Rahman. The film features Ishaan Khatter, Mrunal Thakur, Priyanshu Painyuli, and Soni Razdan.
Pippa: Release Date
The Indo-Pak war drama film will hit the theatres on the 2nd of December 2022.
