Recently, the game Stray has been launched and it has surprisingly taken the world by storm with its incredibly simple yet intuitive storyline. So, we got to test out this new game reliably on an NVIDIA GPU to see how we can play around with the cat life game by Annapurna Interactive.
Obviously, this is a simple game revolving about the story of a cute cat and her family of cats where we see the cat happy with her fellow cat friends, exploring different places together, however, things take a turn as soon as the main cat of this story gets separated in an isolated city.
This becomes interesting as the cat is lost in almost a Cyberpunk inspired lone city with incredible dealing even while the game is very tiny in size. Being an affordable and interesting game, in Stray you have to guide the cat to unite with her friends, doing various kinds of unique work to pass through an isolated place.
Its not the heavist games but works great with Ray tracing if you launch the game in DX12 mode and any NVIDIA GPU should give you good overall frame rates with incredibly rich details. As you see with a GPU like RTX 3070 Ti or even an RTX 3050 on a budget gaming laptop, the performance is good enough.
While ray tracing performance is better on the higher-end NVIDIA GPUs, but the overall playing experience is very smooth. If you haven’t yet played the game and need a new game which doesn’t cost much you should definitely play Stray and if possible with NVIDIA GPUs to enjoy Ray tracing along with promised DLSS update in future.
