Samsung is anticipated to announce the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Z Flip 4 in August. A South Korean publication has declared a report on the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Z Flip 5 coming in 2023. The report has disclosed the chipset, camera, and sales anticipations of both devices.
The Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Z Flip 5 will be charged by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. Earlier reports have suggested that the SD8G2 chip could be released as early as November this year.

The Galaxy Z Fold 5 has a triple camera unit with a 50-megapixel ISOCELL GN3 camera and a 12-megapixel front camera.
The report also discloses that it targets to sell over 10 million units of the Z Fold 5 and Z Flip S in the second half of 2023. It is also predicted to sell 8 million units of the Z Flip 5 and 2 million units of the Z Fold 5. As for the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Z Flip 4, it is rumored that it is hoping to reach a combined sales target of 15 reach a million units.

Galaxy Z Fold 5 and the Galaxy Z Flip 5 are expected to launch in 2023 with some key updates in the display, processor, and camera. Both foldable phones will be charged by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. In comparison, the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Flip 4 will feature the new Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC. If there is the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 2, it is likely that it will launch its foldable phones with the best version of the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 2.
The Galaxy Z Fold 4 beneficiary will launch with a triple-camera setup on the back. It will have a 50MP ISOCELL GN3 sensor. There will also be a 12MP front camera. The report did not disclose the camera specification of the Z Flip 5.
The company plans to four times more Z Flip units compared to the Fold 5. Samsung predicts about 8 million units of the Flip 5 to be sold in the first quarter of its launch. Samsung plans to sell over 2 million units of the Z Fold 5.
