Paulo Dybala will be joining Roma as a free agent after the player reached an agreement with the club on personal terms. He will be signing a deal with the Giallorossi until 2025.
The Argentine could be receiving a €6 million salary including add-ons. Inter Milan were most strongly linked with his signature when it was announced that he would be leaving Juventus upon the expiry of his contract. But now, he will be playing with the inaugural Europa Conference League winners for the coming season.
Paulo Dybala to join Roma for three years
Jose Mourinho was key to the negotiations to get the forward on board. La Joya possesses a very good work rate in both attack and defense, which could make him a great player to have in the system. And he would also fit the Portuguese tactician’s philosophy very well.
But while Paulo Dybala is coming in, Nicolo Zaniolo could be on his way out the club. The Italy international is on the radar of Juventus as a potential new forward to replace Dybala. They are only rumoured to be interested so far, but could move in over the coming weeks.
This season, Roma are ambitious about returning to the Champions League. And the presence of a forward like Dybala could be very beneficial for them in scoring the much needed goals. Alongside Tammy Abraham, Dyabala could form a strong strike partnership upfront this season.
