Samsung is reported to host an exclusive event for unveiling the Galaxy Watch 5 Series, the Galaxy Buds 2 Pro with the next generation of foldable devices, the Galaxy Flip4, and the Fold4. Ahead of the company’s Unpacked launch event, 91Mobiles has revealed the first official images of the Galaxy Z Flip4.
Next-generation Samsung foldable features no design changes:
Looking at the renders of the Z Flip4 from the side, it is clearly visible that the foldable smartphone does not arrive with any major design changes. The only noticeable changes appear to be in the form of larger buttons, a more protruding camera bump, and the boy of the device is much thicker than the Galaxy Z Flip 3.
The buttons just add to the aesthetics of the phone, coming to the thicker design, is due to the larger battery. Here is what we know about the phone so far.
The Z Flip4 will arrive with a 6.7″ Full HD+ sAMOLED display with a high 120Hz refresh rate and a secondary display on the outside that measures just 2.1″.
The phone will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen1 chip paired with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB UFS 3.1 storage. In terms of battery life, it arrives with a 3,700mAh battery with support for 25W charging.
In the optics department, it will arrive with a dual camera setup on the rear with a 12MP primary sensor and a 12MP ultrawide camera. On the front, Samsung is likely to integrate a 10MP shooter for selfies.
