Novak Djokovic has won the men’s singles title at Wimbledon 2022, defeating Nick Kyrgios 4-6, 6-3, 6-4, 7-6 in the finals. The Serbian has now equalled Pete Sampras for seven Wimbledon titles and is now only behind Roger Federer who has 8 Wimbledon wins.

Novak Djokovic said after winning the Wimbledon 2022: “I (am) lost words for what this trophy means. It has always been and always will be the most special tournament. Realising a childhood dream in winning this trophy. Every year it gets more meaningful, I am really blessed. The most special court in the world. I am extremely happy and grateful to be here.”

How much will Novak Djokovic earn after winning Wimbledon 2022?

Novak Djokovic has been awarded a cheque of 2,361,520 euros for winning the Wimbledon 2022.

Nick Kyrgios reached his first-ever Grand Slam final and was runners-up to Djokovic. He earned 1,239,798 euros.

Rafael Nadal reached the semi-final and earned 631,707 euros. However, the Spaniard is the highest-earning tennis player of this season with a total winning of 6,245,395 euros.
