Alessio Romagnoli could be headed to Lazio after leaving AC Milan upon the expiry of his contract. The centre-back has reportedly agreed a five-year contract with the club according to Di Marzio.
He had offers from Premier League club Fulham, but decided to turn it down in favour of a stay in Italy. The defender will be following Nicolò Casale and Mario Gila as new signings for the Biancocelesti.

The player had a series of minor injuries, and poor form, which caused him to lose his place in the starting eleven. Despite being club captain, he was replaced by Fikayo Tomori in the line-up, who has been able to make a name for himself at AC Milan.
After spending seven years with the Rossoneri, and winning the Serie A title in his final campaign with them, he left the club with his contract expiring. Franck Kessie also moved on from San Siro, and has since been announced as a new Barcelona player.
However, at 27, Alessio Romagnoli is entering his peak years as a footballer. With a full pre-season behind him, there will be hope that he can regain his best form under Maurizio Sarri.
AC Milan have so far signed Divock Origi in the transfer window, and are in the race for Belgian wonderkid Charles De Ketelaere, and Hakim Ziyech as well. They have some chances to sign Renato Sanches from Lille, with a push coming in the last few days.
