NVIDIA stated that more than 200 games and applications now use its DLSS (Deep Learning Super Sampling) picture reconstruction technology. Two freshly released games this month will include DLSS and RTX.
The first is Loopmancer, an upcoming action platformer for PC. NVIDIA claims that when ray traced reflections are enabled, DLSS Performance Mode can more than quadruple performance at 4K resolution.
Another independent game with ray-traced reflections and ambient occlusion is Hell Pie, which will debut on July 21. Again, NVIDIA guarantees over 2x frames at 4K resolution with DLSS Performance Mode.
NVIDIA DLAA, the anti-aliasing-focused variant of DLSS, is added in a few titles.
The first is the recently released Patch 8 for Baldur’s Gate 3, while the second is the independent 3D puzzle platformer Lumote: The Mastermote Chronicles.
The Lord of the Rings: Gollum and Steelrising will both support DLSS and RTX features, which are the two greatest announcements. While Steelrising only supports ray-traced reflections, the earlier game has both ray-traced reflections and shadows.
