ASUS has launched its dual-mode truly wireless pair of earbuds that offers an amazing audio experience and also offers multiple gaming-centric functionalities. The ROG Cetra TWS buds are a pair of headphones that was launched alongside the latest ROG Phone 6 line. The unique aspect of these buds is that they can be used with a wire and without a wire as well.

ASUS’ latest pair of wireless buds are perfect for gamers as it not only delivers a smooth and stunning experience in terms of audio owing to the 10mm audio drivers that support the Snapdragon Sound Platform paired with AptX Lossless audio. The buds offer 24-but, 96kHz audio quality which is pretty good.
The wired cable allows you to switch from Bluetooth to a USB Type-C port and it also enables the ESS 9280 Quad DAC. This technology enables the pair of earbuds to deliver audio without any lag and use Bluetooth connectivity, when the ROG Cetra is paired with the Phone 6 Pro/ Pro, there is a 45ms performance which is good for gaming purposes. The noise-cancelling mechanism prevents interference through wired and Bluetooth connections, however, there are also some additional modes included in this that allow for a better audio experience.
The latest buds from ASUS arrive with touch controls and can access your mobile’s voice assistant. In addition to this, it comes with an IPX4 water resistance rating and its battery+ charging case lasts up to 21 hours. If you use it with ANC in that case you get up to 13 hours of ANC.
A brief 10-minute charge will deliver up to 90 minutes of playtime. The brand has not yet revealed any details of the ROG Cetra yet but it is a great edition of the brand’s gaming-centric accessories.
