Oneplus is said to be working on a mid-budget smartwatch, to be called the OnePlus Nord Watch. As revealed by Indian tech reporter Mukul Sharma, the OnePlus Nord Watch looks to be set to launch soon. Previously, the OnePlus Nord Watch was spotted on the BIS certification website, confirming the India launch.
Presently, OnePlus is working on expanding the Nord series in India which is rising in popularity. Since it will debut under the Nord series, the new OnePlus Nord Watch will likely be an affordable smartwatch. The upcoming smartwatch by OnePlus under Nord is said to be a sub-Rs 7,000 segment product.
It will have color touchscreen 1.39-inch AMOLED variant display, heart rate sensor, SpO2 monitoring, sleep tracking, step count, health features, activity tracking, smartphone notifications, music control and more. It is expected to offer heart rate monitoring. It will likely be able to track your steps and sleeping patterns. OnePlus Nord Watch is also expected to come with some Sports modes and this one might have a round dial, similar to the premium OnePlus Watch.
The company isn’t expected to announce the device alongside the OnePlus Nord 2T. The latter is officially confirmed to make its debut next month.
