Leeds United are in advanced negotiations with Bayern Munich to sign their midfielder Marc Roca this summer. Jesse Marsch is keen on bringing the player over to Elland Road, and the situation is developing positively as of right now.
The midfielder signed for Bayern in October 2020, but has been limited to six starts in the first team. He has failed to lock down a place in the team, and will now be moved on in all likelihood.
Marc Roca on his way out of Bayern Munich
The Premier League side are closing in on a deal worth €12 million up-front plus €2 million in add-ons. Personal terms have already been agreed between the player and Leeds, and only the final details need to be sorted out between the two clubs before the transfer goes through.
The player will be signing a four-year deal with the Yorkshire club once the move has been given the green light by Bayern. They have already signed a replacement for Marc Roca, with Ajax youngster Ryan Gravenberch joining the club.
Bayern are expected to do further business in the transfer window this summer, with Robert Lewandowski on his way out of the club. Liverpool star Sadio Mane is expected to be the replacement for their number 9, but a deal has not been agreed between the two parties yet. But, Bayern are leading the race to sign the Senegalese forward as of right now and are the favourites to land him.
