Tecno debuted its latest smartphone globally dubbed the Tecno Spark 9 Pro. The device arrives as the successor of last year’s Tecno 8 Pro and it brings with it an impressive spec sheet for a budget smartphone. From the design aspect, it has a two-tone panel and two circular camera units that houses three lenses. The device features flat edges and key buttons on the right side.

The smartphone arrives with a 6.6″ LCD display with a Full HD+ resolution of 1080p and a refresh rate of 90Hz. The display panel comes with thick bezels along with a waterdrop notch on the front display. The smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Helio G85 SoC with the Mali G52 GPU and it has been paired with up to 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage with an option to expand it via a MicroSD card.
The Spark 9 runs on Hi0S 8.6-based on Android 12 OS. It is juiced by a 5,000mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging. In the optics department, the smartphone features a triple camera setup on the rear with a 50MP primary sensor with an f/1.7 aperture, a 2MP depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture, and a 2MP AI lens with f/2.0 aperture. On the front, it has a 32MP selfie shooter.
The Tecno Spark 9 Pro comes in Quantum Black, Burano Blue, Holy White, and Hacker Storm colors. It will be launched globally starting in Africa. We are not sure about its pricing as of now.
