Xbox Series X gameplay revealed for the first time with 13 new titles including Assassin’s Creed Valhalla

Microsoft Xbox Series X will feature 12 Teraflops of GPU horsepower

We were waiting for this for a long time and finally, Microsoft has revealed the new Xbox Series X gameplay for the first time ever. The new Xbox is one of the mot anticipated game console ever that is power by AMD Ryzen and Radeon graphics and promises smooth 4K gaming experience for all game titles.

Microsoft went live on all of its social media including YouTube, Mixer and Twitch to reveal its 13 brand new gaming titles that will be released for the Xbox Series X and have been optimized for the gaming console as well.

Obviously, the pandemic has disrupted every sector and Microsoft didn’t go as planned and there’s a delay in the shipment of the console. To maintain the hype of the console, it detailed its Xbox Series X specs and the gameplay, which we were eagerly waiting for, has finally been brought to light.

So here are the 13 game titles revealed:

  • Assassin’s Creed Valhalla (Ubisoft)
  • Bright Memory Infinite (Playism)
  • Call of the Sea (Raw Fury)
  • DiRT 5 (Codemasters)
  • Madden NFL 21 (Electronic Arts)
  • Scarlet Nexus (Bandai Namco Entertainment)
  • Scorn (Ebb)
  • Chorus (Deep Silver)
  • Second Extinction (Systemic Reaction)
  • The Ascent (Neon Giant / Curve Digital)
  • The Medium (Bloober Team)
  • Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 (Paradox Interactive)
  • Yakuza: Like a Dragon (SEGA)

The gameplay is at 4K and looks really smooth and detailed and Microsoft stresses on the fact that these titles are Xbox Series X Optimized. According to Microsoft’s storage solution for Xbox Series X, the game load times should improve drastically and with AMD’s hardware you can expect up to 4K 120 FPS ideally.

Microsoft also boasts the fact that the gaming console will support hardware based ray-tracing and it will be interesting to see how these games adapts to this modern tech. Obviously these games need to support DirectX 12 Ultimate for Ray Tracing and among these, 9 gaming titles will feature Microsoft’s Smart Delivery System.
