James Cameron’s fantastic sci-fi film Avatar at last returned for the second adaptation, and this time titled, ‘Avatar: The Way of Water’. The first film was released more than a decade ago. We have got a fantastic and glamorous teaser trailer that once again takes us to the fine landscapes of the alien planet Pandora.
It has been confirmed that James Cameron’s highly anticipated sequel Avatar will come for four movies that contain a marvellous eco-friendly universe, and has a try to extend the mythology the visionary maker only strikes the surface in the original 2009 release.
Avatar: The Way of Water: Plot
The new trailer reveals the first glimpse of Jake Sully aka Sam Worthington, and Neytiri aka Zoe Saldana after fourteen years of the first event, while the human explorer takes a decision to be trapped forever in the body of a blue alien. The two means Jake and Neytiri is living happily ever after, and they become proud parents of a young blue baby boy.
In Pandora, peace does not stay for a long time as the humans start the return to harm the planet that starts a new battle between the invader species and the blue natives of Pandora the trailer also depicts how it connects with the new generation by making Jake and Neytiri’s son as the main focus, and turn him the lead of the new journey.
In this short teaser, we have seen 20th Century Studios sparing without any expense in Avatar 2’s development. As the first film is a burning example of the exciting set pieces, the main reason behind the success of Avatar as a blockbuster giant was its most innovative approach to 3D and CGI.
This concept helped to feel the audience that they were also inside the film. This time the Way of Water trailer also promises to travel onto the fantastic sides of Pandora as we already get a fantastic look or the hidden secrets under the oceans of an alien planet.
The trailer contains images of Jake Sully with long hair and Na’vi hero riding on new creatures of the ocean, the trailer captures one of the most attractive moments that shows a Na’vi touching the fin of a gigantic whale type creature. Since the beginning h Avatar, Na’vi create a deep and meaningful bonding with the animals that surround them.
Now most exciting fact is Dr. Grace Augustine will return for the upcoming four sequels after the suffering as an ill fate in the first film.

The most important update that is worth a share is in 2009 Avatar made history by crossing the $2.8 billion mark at the global box office, taking over the position of Titanic. Avatar once acquired a top spot at the domestic box office with $760.5 million from 2009 till 2015, after that Disney’s Star Wars: The Force Awakens collected $936 million and take the first position, and Avatar become second. Now we have to wait to see if the second film will be able to break the record or not.
Avatar: The Way of Water: Cast
The Way of Water features some returning cast Stephen Lang, Giovanni Ribisi, Joel David Moore, Dileep Rao, CCH Pounder, and Matt Gerald. It is also reported that Sigourney Weaver returns with a different role. The new cast additions for Avatar 2 are Kate Winslet, Cliff Curtis, Edie Falco, Brendan Cowell, Michelle Yeoh, Jamaine Clement, Oona Chaplin, Vin Diesel, and CJ Jones.
The script of the film has been written by Cameron with Josh Friedman. The sequel was also produced by Jon Landau, who also co-wrote the script of the first film.
Avatar: The Way of Water: Release Date
Avatar: The Way of Water is set to hit on 16th December 2022. The other three sequels will come in 2024, 2026, and 2028.
