HBO Max dropped the new trailer of the upcoming Game of Thrones prequel ‘House of the Dragon’ with posters. We all have a little bit of idea about the prequel.
Game of Thrones franchise once again tries to provide such ambience to the audiences of their most popular series. The story takes place 300 years in front of the events of Game of Thrones and this time they focus on the House Targaryen dynasty rule.
The new trailer reveals Matt Smith, Emma D’Arcy, and Paddy Considine playing important roles as Targaryen members. King Viceroys Targaryen just sitting on the most desired Iron Throne, ruling over the Seven Kingdoms, while on the other side Prince Daemon is ready to take his turn.
Their sister, Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen also has an eye on the Iron Throne, but is also told that “men would rather put the realm to the torch than see a woman ascend the iron throne.”
Now the immense rivalry moving the situation towards the Targaryen civil war, known as the dance of the Dragons. One thing we cannot deny is that the new trailer made the entire fanbase more nostalgic as it exposed some glimpse of the locations from the Game of Thrones series revealing the painted table that just doubles as a map at the end of the Storm, and also the Great Hall at King’s landing.
The trailer shows, that King Viserys Targaryen, Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen, and Prince Daemon Targaryen desire nothing beyond ensuring the control of their families over Westeros and trying to intact other power players. The trio means Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen, Smith as Prince Daemon Targaryen, and Toussaint as Lord Corlys Velaryon jointly known as the Sea Snake.

House of the Dragon: Release Date
The new series will start airing on HBO and HBO max on 21st August. George and Ryan Condal have served as the co-creators of the series.
