Tottenham Hotspur are clear about their intention to make Dejan Kulusevski’s transfer permanent. The Swede has been in remarkable form since making his Premier League debut in February, and Antonio Conte has confirmed that his loan deal from Juventus will be made permanent.
With the Bianconeri, he struggled to gain consistent game time and often failed to produce on the pitch when given the chance. But it is a different story under Conte at Tottenham. He is one of the starting front three alongside Harry Kane and Heung-min Son, and has seemingly solidified his place in the line-up.
Dejan Kulusevski to become permanent Tottenham player soon
As per the deal struck between the two clubs, there is a loan with a buy option in the youngster’s contract. There are certain clauses based on appearance and Champions League qualification which will obligate Tottenham to make his deal permanent.
But considering the kind of performances he has been putting in for them, it would be a bargain deal at €45 million. The loan fee until June 2023 is €10 million while the transfer fee would be a further €35 million.
Dejan Kulusevski’s debut against Manchester City in February earned him his first Premier League goal. And since then, no player in the league has provided more assists than him, with 8 decisive passes to his name. Spurs will be very happy with their business, and the influence of Fabio Paratici as sporting director is now clearly visible in their squad.
