Post the success of the Google Pixel 6 Series, the company is now working on a Foldable Pixel device that has been dubbed the Google Pixel Notepad.
Google Pixel Notepad specifications (rumored):
The Pixel Notepad is said to be priced at $1399 or 1,06,672 INR and will be a better alternative to Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold4. Ross Young from DSCC has now revealed the display dimensions of the Pixel Notepad. As per the source, the upcoming Pixel device will have a smaller 5.8″ outer display.
Unlike the Galaxy Z Fold 4’s slim 6.19″ outer display, the foldable device will have a wider aspect ratio screen similar to Oppo Find N. The Find N as we know offers a square display when infolded. The Pixel Notepad is also expected to debut with a similar squarish inner display.
Google’s Notepad has so far been rumored to run on the company’s own Tensor GS101 chip paired with 12GB RAM and 512GB storage. It is said to arrive with slightly downgraded camera specs in comparison to the Pixel 6 lineup.
Sony’s IMX363 12.2 MP sensor is likely to make an appearance on the Pixel 5, the device could also have a 12MP ultrawide sensor on the rear and it can get two 8MP front sensors for the outer as well as inner display.
However, judging by previous reports, Google is looking to kick off the production of the upcoming foldable in Q3 of 2022. It is more likely that the device will debut in Q4 of 2022 along with the Pixel 7 Series.
