POCO M4 5G officially launched in India starting at Rs.12,999

POCO launched the much-awaited POCO M4 5G in India earlier today. The device has a design similar to the Pixel 6 Series from the rear in terms of the camera setup. The design has been called the ‘Hypnotic Swirl Design’ by Poco and is something unique from the brand.

POCO M4 5G specifications:

The POCO M4 5G features a 6.58″ Full HD+ LCD display with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels and a refresh rate of 90Hz. The device has a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 3 for added protection. It runs on Android 12 OS with MIUI 13 on top by default.

In terms of processor, the M4 is powered by MediaTek’s octa-core Dimensity 700 chip that has been paired with up to 6GB RAM. The POCO device arrives with Turbo RAM, another way of telling Virtual RAM. The device can borrow 2GB from your internal storage and bump your existing RAM up for better performance.

In terms of optics, the POCO M4 5G has a dual-camera setup on the rear with a 50MP primary sensor with an f/1.8 aperture and a 2MP portrait camera with an f/2.4 aperture. On the front, it has an 8MP sensor with an f/2.45 aperture for selfies.

The device comes with 128GB of storage that can be expanded to 512GB via a microSD card. The POCO M4 5G supports 7 different 5G bands, WiFi, and Bluetooth v5.1. It has a USB Type-C port, a 5,000mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging, and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. The device has received an IP52 rating for water and dust resistance.

The POCO M4 5G has been priced at 12,999 INR for the 4GB+64GB variant while the 6GB+128GB variant retails for 14,999 INR. The device will go on sale from the 5th of May at 12 PM via Flipkart and it is available in Cool Blue, Power Black, and POCO Yellow colors.
