At last, the wait of the gamer is over as Splatoon 3 drops the official release date. Now earlier this week Nintendo made such an unprecedented move by declaring that Xenoblade Chronicles 3, the long-awaited follow-up to the beloved JRPG series that would be going to launch just two months earlier than the intended in July 2022.
The game also had been originally slated for the September release as declared during the last Nintendo Direct in February. It basically left the fans to wonder about the status of Splatoon 3 along with another big Nintendo game that has been already set for the summer, and if it would instead take Xenoblade Chronicles’ September set to drop on the window. Nintendo now has surprisingly a quick confirmation fan following with suspicions and declared that Splatoon 3 will drop on 9th September 2022.
Splatoon 3 at first declared during the February 2021 Nintendo Direct presentation, from where it was revealed that the game has set after the final Splatoon 2 SplatFest event. The new trailer also exposed the new Ink Bow weapon that also can be even used for both the game’s single-player and also for multiplayer components. From the primary reveal, Nintendo has exposed details about the multiplayer components. Since the initial reveal, Nintendo also has exposed the entire details for the single-player campaign and Return of the mammalians as the game’s latest hub world named Splatsville, and also has the latest revamped Salmon Run mode as it was first introduced in Splatoon 2.
There is also a lot of Nintendo has yet to expose regarding the game. When exposing the release date today, Nintendo also shared a three-and-a-half-minute trailer of the gameplay for the game that also showcases such a single all-match of Turf War multiplayer. Now the clip not only showcases such improved visuals over Splatoon 2’s despite launching onto the exact hardware and also showcases more of Splatoon 3’s new gaming mechanics and also elements previously was teased along with the trailer with huge ability.
The gameplay of Splatoon 3 is just looking like a steady evolution of its predecessors while also increasing the bar for the creativity found in the multiplayer shooter category. There are also definitely still more waiting to see.
